Our next Aglow Women’s Meeting will be on Sat. Aug. 9th at 10am at King’s Fire Church in Lake Katrine.
We will spend time worshiping, praying and studying the Word. Our meeting
will be focused on an Aglow teaching called “Jael, An Ordinary Woman of Powerful
Boldness.” The biblical story of Jael, found in Judges 4 and 5 tells of her courageous
act of killing Sisera, the commander of the Canaanite army, to help the Israelites defeat
their oppressor. This act, though unconventional, delivered Israel from its oppressor and
is celebrated in Deborah’s song of triumph.
All women are welcome. “Never lag in zeal and in earnest endeavor; be Aglow and
burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord. Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and
patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer.” Romans 12:11-12
